How Does INK-it work with Point, WebCaster and Zip
How borrower and broker consent is obtained:
1. Prepare in Point
- Prepare borrower forms in Point
- Select INK-it as the output and click the INK-it button
- Enter your WebCaster or Zip login info
2. eSign with WebCaster/Zip and INK-it
- Documents are sent through the WebCaster/Zip server to the INK-it server where a signing ceremony is created
- Signers receive emails that contain the signing ceremony link and authorization check
- Signers agree to eSign consent form and complete the eSigning process
3. Retain your Records
- After documents are successfully eSigned, the INK-it server notifies the WebCaster or Zip server that documents signing is complete
- Email notifications are sent from the WebCaster or Zip server to inform all parties that the process is complete
- eSigned documents are available for download into Point
- Loan originator receives the Evidence Summary Report—a secure digital footprint of the signing ceremony
