Banker Screen Enhancements

The Track: Registration & Rate Lock and Banker screens have been improved to provide a more complete system of record for mortgage bankers. Request, Confirmations, and Approval forms created in each screen are stored as separate, auditable documents.

Registration & Rate Lock - allows loan originators to enter rate sheet pricing and e-mail the Registration and Rate Lock request.
Secondary Marketing - lets the lock desk enter investor pricing and e-mail the Lock Confirmation.
Underwriting - provides all the data necessary for an underwriter to render an underwriting decision and create the Suspense/Denial Notice.
Conditions - allows the underwriter to track Prior-to-Funding, Prior-to-Docs, Investor, and Trailing conditions and e-mail the Loan Approval Notice or Funding Conditions Notice.
Closing - permits a Funder/Closer to track the data for ordering closing documents. Closing documents can be ordered through one of the built-in document providers in Point.

Electronic Document Storage

Point now helps you better organize your business by allowing you to store all of your loan documents in one central location.

Point automatically associates each loan document with its loan file. Documents that are pulled from within Point (credit, title, etc.) are also stored automatically. Documents outside of Point can be easily added by scanning and importing into the Point file, or by dragging and dropping the file right into Point. Point stores a record of who created each document, what is contained in the document, and when (date and time) the document was created.

FHA Enhancements

An FHA Statutory Requirements Worksheet has been added to Prospect and Borrower files. This form automatically calculates the Maximum Mortgage Amount for Purchase and Refinance Scenarios according to FHA's updated guidelines. This worksheet is also used to satisfy FHA's requirement to document the statutory required calculation in the loan origination file. (Per Mortgagee Letter 08-15).

Client Certificates

The Client Certificates feature provides an additional layer of security within the Credit and Flood Interfaces. This feature, like HTTPS Certificates in Web Browsers, ensures that all customer data is sent securely to the interface vendor using an additional layer of security utilizing the latest 128-bit data encryption technology available.

Calyx Network Title and Escrow Interfaces

Point now provides a more streamlined method of ordering and tracking Title and Escrow orders. Users will be able to order both a Title and an Escrow Report in a single request, allowing them to focus on generating more business, instead of emailing, faxing, or calling in orders. It also allows them to order Title and Escrow reports from their local office. Automating the ordering process in Point reduces errors and gives you a tool to hold your Escrow/Title agent accountable for timeliness and completeness of orders. In addition, this feature provides a method within the file for tracking when the report(s) were ordered and received for auditing purposes.
