Enabling Software Developers to Integrate into Point

Calyx Software is proud to announce the long-awaited arrival of Point SDK (Software Development Kit). Available now, the software serves as a two-way interface, enabling more companies to develop applications that can access Point loan data from local folders or from Point Data Server.

Now more companies will be able to integrate their current customer relationship management system, sales tools, lead generation software or any other back office systems with Calyx Point. The SDK allows the transfer of data to and from Point and other business applications, streamlining company processes.

Attention! Customers Who Have Not Installed Their
Point 6.1 CD Yet

If you plan on completing a netsetup or administrative install of 6.1, please call support before proceeding — (800) 342-2599

There is a potential for data loss if your files are stored in the wrong location, and you’re performing an administrative install (server-based using Netsetup). Calyx would like to make sure that you’re aware of the specifics to avoid problems, so please call us for a quick consult before attempting an administrative setup.

Note: Point Data Server users and those performing a typical (or CD/individual computer) install of Point 6.1 are not at risk for losing data.

The recent addition of ProClose Platinum - Web Interface to the Services menu in Point is making the closing experience faster, easier, cheaper and safer for lenders and borrowers alike.

Point users connecting directly with ProClose Platinum Web Service for doc prep can now experience the timesaving, accuracy improving benefits and ‘seamless’ experience that they deserve.

Lenders can confidently produce compliant closing docs with MBS ProClose MISMO XML-native ProClose® Platinum Web Service, which captures loan data passed by Point versions 6.0 and 6.1 to deliver a perfect set of closing docs in PDF ready to print, e-deliver, or both, just seconds after the loan file is completed.

You can access ProClose in Point 6.1 by clicking on Services > Closing Docs > and selecting ProClose Platinum - Web Interface from the dropdown menu.

Ordering Hazard Insurance Has Never Been Easier

Calyx makes it easy to order and receive hazard insurance reports directly from Point. To request a report, simply select Hazard Insurance from the Services menu, then click on Request Insurance Quote. Select your vendor, enter the required information, and click Submit. It’s that simple! Prospect or borrower information is transmitted directly to the company’s system, where the hazard insurance report is rapidly generated, transmitted back to you, and stored with the loan file in Point. Anytime you copy or move a loan file, the report moves with it.
